About
the Artist
I am drawn to the strength, character, and emotional depth of women. My goal is to capture their raw power and resilience directly on canvas—through every smear, strike, and built-up layer of paint. Each painting becomes a record of that commanding presence, created with urgency and no filters.
I work exclusively as a finger painter using acrylic on canvas. I skip brushes and preliminary sketches to confront the surface head-on. This creates a fast, physical, instinctive process with no barriers between me and the canvas.
I build every composition in the moment. The intensity is deliberate, not emotional venting. By moving quickly and layering gestures at speed, I push past self-consciousness and sentimentality. This lets me stay completely focused on the subject: the powerful, unyielding female figure. The result is work that feels immediate, tactile, and honest—honoring the subject's force through direct action rather than planned design.
